The Hillsborough County Medical Association (HCMA) Foundation’s 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic was held October 12, 2017, at the Carrollwood Country Club. Check out photos from the tournament on the HCMA’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/HCMADocs
The Charity Golf Classic is an event where our member physicians, hospitals, and local businesses will raise funds to support community projects. For over two decades, it has been my privilege to work with a network of physicians and local businesses dedicated to enriching our community.
Partnership with the Tampa Bay business community is a fundamental goal of the HCMA, the HCMA Alliance, and the HCMA Foundation; and is an essential component for success in an event of this magnitude. Due to the success of the Charity Golf Classic we have been proud to fund programs through such organizations as Children's Home Network, Frameworks, Judeo Christian Health Clinic, MoreHealth, Self Reliance/Project Independence, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Foundation, St. Joseph's Hospital, Inc. - Mobile Medical Clinic, and Voices for Children. We have also been able to award scholarships to USF Morsani College of Medicine medical students.
Please do not hesitate to contact Elke Lubin or Kay Mills at the HCMA Headquarters, 813/253-0471, if you have any questions concerning the HCMA Foundation Charity Golf Classic.
I look forward to your future support.
Sincerely,
Michael Wasylik, MD
Foundation President
